The Orchard Core: A SNOWY SPRING CABIN

Written and photographed by: Isabel (8th grade) and Mae (8th grade)

Did you know the Orchard Cabin has been around for 25 years? It was built to be an outdoor learning area for the teachers to take their students. We also use the Cabin for Diverse Culture Days, The Dig (integrated seventh grade project), advisory overnights, Earth Day celebrations, etc.

With temperatures ranging in the high 20s to low 30s, the past two days have been cold enough to cause flurries! As the cabin sits and the snow falls, the kids still learn.
