WTHR Channel 13 Feature: Orchard Teachers Go The Extra Mile For Their Students | David & Allison
Last November, we covered the wonderful story of how an Orchard 5th grade teacher, Allison Housefield, used running to make a positive impact on one of her former students, David Beaty. They've already completed a half marathon and plan to run another one this spring.
WTHR Channel 13 heard about the story and loved it so much that they wanted to cover it as well!
This story is a prime example of how Orchard teachers feel it is their responsibility to interact with each student as an individual, while challenging them with new ideas and high expectations.
