Middle School students served our community at 13 locations on Friday morning and at Gleaners on Thursday morning. Students worked hard cleaning, painting, filing, sorting food and interacting with the elderly. It was a fulfilling and productive experience for our students. We are so proud of their work and the difference they make in our community! 

Overall, Orchard students served at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, John H Boner Neighborhood Centers, Holliday Park, Dyslexia Institute of Indiana, Gigi's Playhouse, Spring Mill Meadows, Crooked Creek Food Pantry, Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center, Second Presbyterian Church Northside Food Pantry, Fletcher Place Community Center, The Orchard School, Broad Ripple Park and Gleaners.

    • Gleaners Community Food Bank

      5th grade students sorted 13,662 lbs of food which will help feed 11,385 people!

      6th Graders are deep cleaning the play area.

      6th graders cleaned windows, tables and helped with yard work.

      6th graders helped clean up the woodshop, repaint picnic tables, clean the theatre stage and much more!

      7th graders helped sort food at St. Vincent de Paul.

    • Second Presbyterian | Northside Food Pantry

      7th graders weighed sorted and stocked food for the back room.

    • John Boner Neighborhood Centers

      8th Graders filed and organized papers.

    • Spring Mill Meadows

      8th graders played games and had good conversation with the residents.

    • Marquette Manor

      8th graders played Wii games and cooked for with residents in Marquette. They loved playing Wii!
