Masters at Integration
Orchard teachers are masters when it comes to integrating subjects. For example, these Junior Kindergarten students recently learned about birds.
Later, the students used tweezers to sort bird feed. What a great way to work on those fine motor and sorting skills! The students counted how much yellow feed they had compared to how much black feed they had on their paper. The students placed their feeder near their classroom during the 20th Annual Great Backyard Bird Count in late February.
