Orchard Student Featured on Good Morning America, Helps Beat A Guinness World Record!
Quick recap: For those new to the Orchard community, Aidan Brown is a seventh grade student here at The Orchard School. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma on May 20, 2010 just days before his fifth birthday. He relapsed shortly after his 10th birthday. You can read more about his story here.
Today, Aidan is happy and healthy thanks to organizations like Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, a non-profit committed to raising funds for research to develop new, improved, and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer. As Aidan plainly states in his interview below, “They saved my life because they funded treatment.”
Watch below to see if they can beat a cookie frosting world record, and hear more from Aidan and Gretchen Witt, co-founder of Cookies for Kids’ Cancer.
Aidan has his own foundation as well! The Aidan Brown Foundation aims to help children with cancer stay positive by providing much-needed distractions and by helping them stay connected to the people, places and things they love.
