Members of Orchard’s No Place For Hate Club Featured On WISH TV For Their Compassion Project

Last week, we posted about Orchard’s No Place For Hate Club opening a letter writing station for those affected by the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. WISH-TV heard about how our students came up with the idea and they wanted to come check out the writing station for themselves.

Because of Orchard’s Progressive education we are able to shape the lives of students to become courageous, compassionate citizens. Things like the No Place For Hate Club and the letter writing station are prime examples of part of our mission to make the world a better place.

Progressive education tenet: Orchard fosters active citizenship and stewardship rooted in justice, integrity, character, ethics and courageous compassion.
