After Eight Weeks of Remote Learning at Orchard, Students Get an Unforgettable Finale

As week eight of remote learning came to a close, families at The Orchard School literally crossed the finish line in style. Orchard took inspiration from the Indy 500 as families were invited to cruise in an Orchard Car Parade on our “track” around the bell tower.

More than 300 Orchard families came to the end-of-the-year celebration! Their cars were decked out in green and gold decorations, while signs displayed messages of love for teachers and the school we all miss so much.

Eighth graders added another date to the list of unforgettable events in the year 2020. On May 21, 2020, Orchard graduates were honored in the biggest possible way—a graduation celebration at a drive-in movie theatre that played a custom-made movie recapping their time at Orchard.

A montage of pictures from the past played as students paid tribute to their teachers, families, and the school that has been their second home for nearly a decade. Enjoy the recap video of these two unforgettable events.

Owls forever!
