Ann Dean Fund

Ann Dean's Legacy
Orchard recently lost one of our earliest graduates, Ann Dean, class of 1934. One of the many things that made Ann so special was her fervent belief that children who passed through Orchard’s doors should have the same opportunity afforded to their children without being hindered by their financial situation. In her honor, we invite you to contribute to the fund that makes this possible, aptly called the “Ann Dean Fund,” which has provided necessary assistance for students to attend Orchard since its inception. With more funds, we can provide support to even more families!

Ann and her husband, Noble, both attended Orchard starting a legacy lasting three generations. Ann and Noble's two children, Tom and Maggy both attended Orchard as well as Tom and beloved Orchard librarian, Karen Dean's three children Noble, Benjamin, and Kate.

Legacy families are part of what makes Orchard so unique. For nearly 100 years, generations of families have chosen a Progressive education and passed those values and beliefs onto their children. We want to contribute to that nurturing through an Orchard education. Will you help make that possible with a gift in their support? You can make a gift using the online form below or mail a check to Orchard’s Development Office at 615 West 64th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46260. Questions may be directed to Chief Advancement Officer Rochelle Reeves (rreeves@orchard.org).
