Video & Photos: Orchard's Pancake Breakfast Was A Sweet Success

Keep scrolling to see photos from the Pancake Breakfast. Orchard community, we sent an email titled "Orchard's Pancake Breakfast Was A Sweet Success (Video and Photos)" with a few more photos and photo booth pics.

Nothing says Orchard like tapping the maple trees and enjoying pancakes with the Orchard community. With a sky full of sunshine and over 850 Owls, we once again shared together in one of Orchard’s best traditions! Thank you to all the students, families, friends, and alumni of The Orchard School for a memorable Pancake Breakfast. All of the money raised at this event supports the Alumni Heritage Association–a dedicated group of alumni working to support the school’s mission and keep the traditions alive (old and new).

A big thank you to the Orchard staff and kitchen staff who helped out this year. We couldn't have done it without our sponsor FLIK Independent School Dining (FISD). We would also like to give a special thank you to the Bowen Family, the Endicott Family, the Linsmith and Troy Families, Susie Hay '63 Gould and Jack Gould, the Thornburgh Family, and the Dillon Family for their sponsorships of the event. Cheers to Mrs. P and Diana Shellhaas who kept the pancakes flipping all day over the open fire and to DJ BK for the sensational sounds. Thank you to the Woodards for donating our raffle item for Wasatch Lake. And if you visited the library, you know Orchard’s librarian, Angie Kissinger, also deserves a job well done!

And lastly, we would like to send a heartful thank you to our first graders for their hard work collecting sap from Orchard’s sugar bush during their science classes. Without their efforts, this fun event doesn’t exist.

Until next year,
