Dear Families,
What a fantastic first day of school! Around the building, from first grade to eighth grade, our students were playing, scavenger hunting, problem solving, and diving right into their class routines and exciting work for the year: happily, from what I've learned about Orchard, that's how we like to learn around here.

It was a pleasure to see many of you on the red carpet this morning at drop off, and wonderful to see the students coming back to school with such excitement for the year. I look forward to a joyful 2018-19 school year!
