This program is looking for students who have demonstrated leadership skills during their middle school years and who have shown exceptional academic accomplishment and promise, significant involvement in extracurricular activities, a concern for their communities, and interest in the larger world.
The ideal candidate for the Ignatian Scholars Program will possess the following characteristics:
Leadership
A strong work ethic
Experience serving others
Goal-oriented
Academic Excellence
Qualifying HSPT (High School Placement Test) Test Scores
Strong written essay
Letters of recommendation
Throughout this exploration, Scholars are exposed to outside speakers who have achieved success in their chosen fields and community service to enrich their sense of purpose and fulfillment.
