Susan Appel ’95, started The Indy Learning Team to build a reading culture for all. Her team partners with schools and other organizations to end the generational cycle of shame and struggle associated with learning to read and write.
Through Orchard’s progressive education, students are courageous, compassionate citizens who are active in their community and work towards making the world a better place.
