Photos: Kindergarten Students Celebrate 100 Days of School With Math, Community and Fun

Kindergarteners celebrated 100 days of school today! Students rotated through each kindergarten classroom, visiting different stations along the way. Fine motor skills were in effect during the stringing of 100 fruit loops, while large motor skills and number recognition were used during a bean bag toss and musical chairs. Students also used problem solving skills and strategy to build towers with 100 plastic cups. At the end of the day, kindergardeners met Zero the Hero, someone who they've only received letters from on days that end in 0. Needless to say, kindergarten students had an awesome day!

At Orchard, we love seeing students collaborate, be creative, and flex their critical thinking skills in a way that's meaningful to them in order to create a lifetime of joyful learning.
