Orchard Preschool Students Enjoy Hayrides and Hands-on Activities During Their Fall Festival

It’s pretty easy to enjoy a grade-level Fall Festival when there are hayrides, friends from other classrooms, and hands-on stations like apple cider pressing and corn shucking.

What’s cool about these events is that all of these activities are organized by Orchard teachers who are utilizing equipment stored right here on campus! These #onlyatorchard experiences create strong bonds that help children develop a love of learning.

Progressive education tenet: During these formative years when children are curious and inquisitive, we provide them with opportunities to discover, explore, and experiment. In an increasingly urban world, nature plays a central part in the education of the whole child.
